Curling
Naseby is the Curling capital of New Zealand. The ancient Scottish game of Curling is a pastime similar to lawn bowls but played on ice using a "stone". Some would argue the characters, jargon and etiquette is entertainment enough. Anyone can enjoy Curling regardless of age, sex or experience and the locals will certainly make you feel welcome.
Depending on the season and conditions you can opt for:
- traditional ‘crampit’ style Curling, played on the outdoor ice.
OR
- Modern Curling played in the Olympic standard, indoor curling rink
We use experienced local Curlers who are willing to share their passion.
